It's theater like we've never see with the highest stakes imaginable. The entire planet is the stage. The principle players will have to overcome the hurdles of satisfying each other's demands and at least one of the players has a history of deceit. It's not a production that will be easy to direct but I believe President Trump is the best we've ever had to negotiate this ceasefire and future behavior than anyone we've had before. Iran is at it's weakest point in the history of the regime and I'm hoping that can be used to full advantage for the people of Iran, Israel and ultimately the people of the world. Pray for us all. Thanks for the H/T!
Thanks for letting me know about 'the good ISIS.' That information looks like the best we have right now. More will follow and what we further learn will confirm, reshape, or counter what we think is currently known. And that's okay. It would be nice to have a clear set of facts from which to proceed. This is Mr. Trump's chance to be the master negotiator he talks of being.
Brokering a deal on THIS is exponentially more important than another hotel and golf course. Trust will be a problem, as you noted, and so will sticking to agreed upon terms. Who really wants death and destruction? The everyday Iranian does not any more than the everyday Israeli does. I hope Trump seizes the moment or it seizes him or whatever the right metaphor is.
