They claim our immigration "system" is "broken". No, it isn't. We have laws which the American people approve of - they WANT "the system". We had a president who enforced the laws and made "the system" work to the satisfaction of the ONLY people who matter in this: American citizens. We need to get that guy back.
If you had emoji's I would be using the one where the person is tearing their hair out. I mean, good grief, Obama had a better border policy than these fools. Until congress actually changes our immigration laws, anything done is just a bandage. Just another EO that the next "guy" (please, please, please) can overturn.
Obama could only work toward fundamental transformation on so many things. On other matters, he had to put on a good show and immigration was among those things. It's still his people in charge who made the pivot to open borders. We have immigration laws. They may or may not ideal, but ignoring them outright is not a policy, at least not one that ends well.
At least he was an improvement but it sure seems like he's pulling the strings behind this admin and it's been a total failure. Or and orchestrated success!
